WALKING FOOTBALL FOR ALL

CTWFC's particular combination of Football, Fitness and Fun aims to provide an environment that welcomes anyone aged 50+ and women 40+, to join us for our weekly Wednesday recreational session - regardless of ability.

We also participate in walking football friendly and competitive matches, at home and abroad, and we're known to have the occasional social get-together.

FOOTBALL

All CTWFC’s players are over the age of 50 with a few now over 70 and, regardless of age or fitness, once they became familiar with the concept of ‘walking’ and keeping contact to an absolute minimum, they all now enjoy playing the slower version of the beautiful game, both recreationally and/or competitively.

FITNESS

Most players start Walking Football to improve their fitness levels, but quickly realise that it also provides an opportunity to put things to one side and enjoy the time on the pitch. Whatever your ability, male and female, playing doesn’t just improve mobility and stamina, it also improves your sense of wellbeing.

FUN

Our goal is to play walking football with a smile. To help achieve this we are building a strong social side to the club with get-togethers for recreational and competition players alike (+ partners). We believe teamwork off the pitch helps the performance on the pitch – it’s a good game plan, we hope you'll agree.

WORKING AND WALKING TOGETHER

CTWFC are masters of efficient energy on the pitch, Omnium is a master in energy efficiency - a partnership meant to be!
